What is the Agri-Regen Programme?
In response to environmental degradation, global warming, and joblessness, Avo Vision, in partnership with the Employment Promotion for Women for the Green Transformation in Africa Programme (WE4D) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), introduces the Agri-Regen Programme.
This Green Business initiative targets the villages of Ga-Kibi in Limpopo’s Blouberg Municipality, aiming to improve both the environmental and socio-economic conditions of the area. The programme focuses on empowering women and local entrepreneurs with a passion for environmental sustainability, especially within the agricultural sector. It helps establish sustainable businesses that create local employment opportunities.
The programme enhances capacity in environmental restoration, crop cultivation, and livestock husbandry, contributing to economic growth while promoting ecological sustainability. Through the partnership with WE4D and GIZ, this initiative benefits from support by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union, with GIZ overseeing implementation.

What is Imvelo Eyethu?
"Imvelo Eyethu" is an isiZulu phrase meaning "Our Nature" or "Our Environment." It reflects a commitment to environmental sustainability, conservation, and responsible resource management.
The Imvelo Eyethu Programme focuses on empowering communities through sustainable environmental practices, ecological restoration and green business development. It provides training and support to entrepreneurs and community members to help them create eco-friendly businesses, restore degraded land and promote climate resilience.
What is AgriSim?
AgriSim is an innovative agricultural simulation and training programme designed to help farmers and agripreneurs make informed decisions about their farming operations.
The programme leverages data-driven insights, technology and sustainable farming practices to improve productivity, profitability and environmental sustainability.

To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
Be 18 years or older
Be an existing farmer or actively engaged in farming activities
(Preference will be given to 70% women and 40% youth)
